Apparently, yes, in a way.

You just keep getting better and better. So you would buy a console just for an engine, despite the fact that it will not determine the actually quality of the games that use it? Why should a particular engine matter if there are still quality games for the console? In all honesty, you should stay away from console gaming if running the latest engine is all that which you care about. But I could care less about why you would not buy a Wii U.
Now.

I hope you're trolling. Otherwise..... Ignorant much?
"Imaging being a gamer"? Tell that to the many hours it takes to 100% complete Mario 2D & 3D games on the Wii, Metroid Prime, Twilight Princess (50+), Skyward Sword (50+), XenoBlade (50+), etc. And don't get me started on the 2,000+ hours I clocked into SSB: Brawl. Not to mention it has a competitive tournament scene. Yeah, I'm sure people who have done this (or have come close) are totally just i...
Oh please. anyone who owns a Wii and actually does any research on it's games knows that loads.
From finally geting new and traditional 2D games ( Epic Yarn, Return to Dreamland and DKC Returns ), to finally getting a sequel to Sin and Punishment, and still getting pure quality classics like SMG 1&2, Zelda SS, Punch Out, XenoBlade, TLS, etc. And those are just titles that are backed by Nintendo.
Yeah, the Wii has something for everyone. Jesus, people...
XIII-3.......?
Do not want
Yeah, I understand. But still, it would have been amazing to see it there. xD
Hm..... I will not say much on this, only that things like this is happening everywhere. If not now, certainly soon enough.
Why didn't Nintendo show this at their e3 press conference? D: This would have been the perfect game to show to end off the Wii.
Nintendo were taking their own route with the Wii. Rather than fighting the power battle, they took the innovative path by changing the way people game on consoles. Now they are going to do it again the Wii U.
I'm not denying the Wii is weak when set side by side with the Ps3 and 360. However, being weak compaired to it's competitors does not exclude it from the generation, like it or not. It's how it's been and it's how it always will be.
Why should a console be obsolete just because it's not as strong as it's competitors? I own a PS3, yet I still play my Wii console just as much. Hell, I fire up my N64 from time to time. Why? Because one does not offer everything the other does.
Anyone calling themselves a gamer shouldn't limit their gaming experience simply because of a system's power or graphical capabilities. If power/graphical capabilities are what you're looking for, look no further ...
To ChunkyLover53: "Its not like we can say the Wii wasn't this generation just because it was less powerful."
And yet, those fanboys were saying it for years. Hell, they still are.

To the testicleless disagree: Oh, do reply. I'd like to know where I was wrong.
LOL Dirty Harry
What the hell?..... BWAAAHAAAHAHAHA!
This is exactly why I will never take the agree/disagree system seriously.
I am so screen-capping this.
LOL I hand better not see it for another 5-10 years. I've spent too much money on my 25th Anniversary Zelda 3DS to see a new successor anytime soon.
New York? Can't wait! (*-* )
Oh, enough of this Brony sh!t.
Never forgot that.
I think you mean 1984. ('-' )
And trust me, it's already here...
Mission Accepted
Again, I could care less for your reasons for not buying a Wii U are. I'm not saying that the system could do better without it or anything like that. The chances of it getting good games from that engine are good but not always certain. With or without it matters not much if there is a good library of games for it. The Wii is a good example of this. It's absence does not make the console unbuyable, at least in my eyes. But that's subjective to the individual and I'd rather no...
